Going to OKC

It's the time to go visit family and take road trips so yeah, I'm headed to OKC to visit said family...
big city, long drive here I come ...

going to visit this memorial and remember the chaos and the kindness it brought out in people oh yeah and how the ground shook even 5 miles away

hoping to avoid these while I'm there

hot humid heat in OKC but it's nice to take a break from RL sometimes ya know ? See family I haven't seen for too long and have some fun , enjoy some sights, and pay respects to those lost in the bombing...

A few of my favorite shoes

I've been noticing in some blogs about nice but expensive shoes and it got me to thinking about shoes in SL... Sometimes I think designers both clothing and shoes seem to boost their prices up once they begin to get some recognition... I imagine it's difficult to make much money when you start out as a designer and once they start getting more business it's better business to raise the prices a bit. Sometimes however raising prices alot seems to me to be kind of cutting off your nose to spite your face as it were. I generally find designers who make good quality things WITH good prices but once the prices start raising dramatically I'm off to search other designers with more affordable things I like just as much that also has the added benfit of not being seen on everybody I come into contact with .
With that thought in mind I've decided to show off some of my fave shoes in SL that are ALL under the 1000$L price...

My friend tp'd me to this spot to hang out ... so I said sure tp me because i was bored and had no clue what i was getting myself into. Yeah i'm sure they did a great job re-enacting the concerts but erm it's not so much my kind of music i guess... Lots of Elton John, Tina Turner songs.
