Roark is a very cool guy and you gotta love the pink hair. He never get grumpy with me when I tp him to random places for random things and is always willing to listen to me grump when he's cornered LOL .

While I was at a live music event here in SL I came across this saying in a profile and it made me think of just how true it is....

This brings to mind a blog I've been thinking of posting about *gasp* love and friendships in SL.

This comes about because lately I've been catching up with friends and loves from my SL that I hadn't seen in too long.

The drama y'all kinda know about LOL . *shudders* Sooo glad that's over. /me hugs the mute button happily
Some friends I haven't been in touch with... Hmm where do I start there ? Seems like it always happens in several people not just one or two.

Sometimes this can be a good thing, actually almost always. :-) Only one past friend who I was unhappy to see *insert drama here* but that's done thankfully. *sighs*

But other friends who just hadn't been online or were busy with something else or just made new avvies hoping to escape some mishap.

So one such friend and I were dicussing love in SL the pros and cons of it. How does one decide if love in SL is bad or good ? Shouldn't it be both?

Many of us who have found an SL partner and gotten hurt, but should that keep us from being open to the possibility of finding it again ? I'm not saying that we should all run out to the nearest date-an-avvie store front but just not shut down and stay positive. Is this a really naive approach to SL dating ? Would being all emo or negative really keep the people out of your life who have the ability to touch our hearts ? If so , is this really a good thing ?

To my way of thinking life is for being happy , with ourselves, our lives, and our hearts. If our heart isn't happy how can our lives be happy ? I'm not saying love is the only thing that makes our hearts happy. I'm thinking being closed off from life because of past hurts might make us unhappy.

Anyways enough rambling from me for now. Thanks for y'all who actually read this stuff lol..

Dread and Anticipation

The hunt at Locos Poco. Here are some treats ... headbolts, candy corn popsicle Here are some tricks....

Another adventure for the day. The hunt at Locos Poco is really fun and doesn't require you to use any brain power at all. Do bring a marshmallow or 2 to roast on those open flames though.

The trick is to knock on the doors where lights are on inside then guess if it's a trick or treat. A correct guess will get you a treat... and if you're lucky a key :-)

Everybody onigokko!!!!

Ever wonder what to do when stalking lucky chairs and it seems like it's taking forever for your letter to come up ? The solution ? ONIGOKKO :-D

This si a group of us stalking the lucky board at Fuel and so I handed out onigokko and we all had a blast :-)

If you haven't been to Cutting Class , don't walk but RUN there. It's such great fun I suggest taking a friend or 5 along also.
My friend Gala and I were goofing off killing some time before her big day and decided to go to Cutting Class.

When we tp'd in we met up with some great people I know through Ch'Know group and we all decided to do this haunted house type fun together as a group. Which made it so much more fun.

First off be sure and grab those flashlights or lanterns and set view to midnight. Then grab the HUD provided and be prepared for some spooky fun.
The goal is to look for clues scattered throughout to advance to the next phase of fantastic fun.
There are 9 clues in all. A history at the beginning and a ending as well.

The talent that went into creating this is amazing and pure genius.

I had to take some pics of this really cool part in the outing. This is me in a cage trying to console myself by rocking.

If you miss out on going to this adventure , you're just plain missing the fun of all things spooky and fun.

A bug update is that I have discovered I can wear shoes from Sn@tch without my entire lower half going all weird :-D \o/YAY, Ivey thank you so much.

Bugs and what not....

For a few days now my poor avvie has had this weird thing giong on where when shoes are worn the base of the shoe suddenly becomes my entire bottom half -.-

This being an example of me thinking pants would make the bug invisible..... So I decided to ask in Ali's group btu no one knew of any bugs or fixes for it. I happened to ask my friend Mir. Guess what ?!?! She knew someone else it happened to... At this point I'm eagerly waiting for a response to the offline I sent to Mr. Kongo, He then sent me an offline IM back :-).
Alas a fix wasn't in the making, but it is helpful to know I'm not the only one this is happeneing to.

SL seems to have some problem with nVidia graphics -.-. What this means is my PC will crash when SL decides it hates nVidia AND that wearing skirts and/or shorts with shoes is icky looking. *sighs*
I'm debating hanging out here until I can wear shoes with skirts and shorts again. More likely you'll see me wandering the grid (as Falcone put it) hillbilly style... ;-)


P.S. These pics were taken at a great new (to me) free photo studio. I found it by searching free photo studio in places and clicking the 2nd choice. There are lots of cool photo things to take your pictures from in this area which can be found on the main floor, including the outside, and all the floors above. The owner, Fross, is a very helpful guy.

Drama Sucks !!!!

Enough said ? Lately , despite my best efforts, I seem to be drawn back into some old drama by a very spiteful person. *shrugs and sighs*

Now I feel like I'm drowning in it. Ugh !!!

This begs the question, why are some people so into drama, thereby dragging those of us who absolutely hate drama into their evil web ?

I do my best to avoid any and all drama to the point of staying away from places that seem to draw drama.

I would like to have a happy and fun filled SL. I don't understand how drama is for some people fun. Fun for me is meeting cool people, shopping, goofing off in silly ways only SL allows (onigokko being a good example) , dancing, doing things that in RL aren't available (surfing, DJing).

Rant ended.....

Back to being my sunny self once again :-) Thanks for listening to my ramblings.....

Random Thoughts

So I finally logged in for the first time in like forever. Went to a really fun party being DJ'd by the bestest Ali of Ch'Know.. Lots of great people, tons of great tuneage, and happy people. Which I have to say is like the BEST part. Ali is such a sweetheart and so are the people she knows.

I danced around being my usual moronic, silent, shy self but still managed to at least talk to people by the time they were starting to leave. Yay me ! :-)

Enough about me though, I have a more pressing question on my mind (to me at least). Should we as bloggers expect to be put on other people's blogs simply because we put their blogs in our own ? Do some bloggers only put other blogs in their link-a-do to be put in their link-a-do?

I put other blogs in my blog because I read them and like them. I actually read ALOT more blogs then I have in my little link-a-do thingy. Who knows. That was my question of the day.

I'll be posting again soon because I have another pressing conundrum bouncing around in my head. I keep thinking with more experience blogging I'll be able to be a great blogger and be more eloquent with my thoughts , but until then y'all are stuck with disjointed stuff and bits :-P .
