Leotards, anyone ?

Last night, early this morning I was hanging out with one of my closest and longest sl friends, Tekila Vella, and a mutual friend of ours , Al Penucca (who is also THE best sport in sl)were goofin and Teks comes up with the thought of making a video.

Do you kiss your mom with that mouth ?

We've all heard it and it's a valid question. More a question of how we can be so hurtful to others but still have the capacity for loving our family.

What if all those mean things we've done to others were done to the people we loved?

I am hoping by writing this to help people stop and think about their actions and the ways it affects other people, maybe not in some direct way but for sure in some way. Everytime we smile at someone that person feels like smiling and will smile at the next person and so on and so forth. It has begun with a smile that many will feel in their day. Pay it forward.

The same is true when we put out negative emotions onto others. They hurt, their loved ones hurt for them. Mean spiteful words and actions impacts alot.

This is all about tolerance y'all. If we didn't practice tolerance where would we be? Someone, somewhere had to be tolerant for sl to be put into being.

Without that tolerance none of us would be here now, so please stop and think before being spiteful, and intolerant of each other. Show compassion and be kind to yourselves and to others.

Life would suck if we didn't have tolerance. Tolerance is part of progression and growth. Please be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

Next time you see that noob walking around with one shoe just remember that was you once and be kind. Hell,go for some real kindness and offer some advice to help them along. That gesture maniac you happen to be in the same sim with, well maybe in their sl that is how they communicate because they're too shy to find a different way to be social. Maybe it's the way things are done around the people they normally hang out with. Just realize alot of the things we find irritating may have different meanings to the ones doing them.



I challenge everyone who reads this to try using that extra bit of tolerance in the next few days and then wait to see the reactions over the next couple weeks. And if you really want a great challenge take Ivey's challenge...

Stand for something

You've all heard it at one time or another. 'You should stand for something or you will fall for anything.' With this thought in mind I want to talk about animation overrides or AOs.
Your AO says so much about you in sl. It's the clue into your personality, the opening statement when you walk into a room. The part of you that tells a story of who you are.

Where does your story begin at?


My beginning was found here at Vista Animations, a great store with lots of options to suit everyone's taste. And I was lucky enough to find the AO to call my own. It has enough stands that it doesn't cycle thru all the stands in a 10 minute period. Lots of sit, walk, and stand options. And best of all I got to meet Vista Barnes himself. ^^

He's very nice, friendly, and nice to look at, too. He's a very helpful guy.


He took some time out of a very busy day to answer some questions I had, being the curious person I am.

He told me about the work of putting together animations. The not so fun part of trying to upload anims onto sl.

The selections of AOs here is amazing. The smallest detail is done for you. No more hoping the AO you have will fit the height of your avvie. There are 3 options for tall, medium, and short. Knowing the work that goes into animated AOs makes me appreciate the creativity and talent so much more.


Next time you are looking for AOs check out Vista Animations. Tell your story in just the right way.

It never hurts to tell the owners that you appreciate the time they take to put out the amazing quality they do.

Frustrations everywhere

This is close to what I've been seeing all friggin day long >.<

SL is kinda out for the most part and I'm ready to drop kick my tower into the next universe.

Days like these I just want to say GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

But the bunny wars are awesome ^^

Always cool to have something to laugh about even when you're just so frustrated and things just aren't going the way they are supposed to be.

*hurries to post this before yet another blue screen crash occurs*

Land stuff

Hanging out in my 'garden' and thinking of ways to improve the fun factor of my land.

I'm thinking plants flowers but in a way that is me, fun but away from the norm. I do some of my best thinking and planning while looking at clothes because... well I'm not sure.... I'm a goof like that I guess.

I'm wandering around Shiny Things thinking of buying some shoes and I'm wandering outside for garden inspiration.

Look what I found !!!! \o/ It's exactly the thing for my garden I'm thinking. Really pretty, a little goofy/funky, and best of all changing colors to fit any mood I'm in.

Freaky time !!!!!

I'm DJing here at Freakheim from 5-7pm slt in a come as you are event. Lots of rock , rock, and more rock.

Bridal stuff

One of my sl sisters, Galateia Vhargon, has given me the priviledge of being her maid of honor at her upcoming wedding to Layden Tigerpaw, a really cool guy and awesome DJ at the club Rockstars.

We were at Ali's DJ event at Ingmann yesterday which turned out to be lots of fun. But that's another post which Ali has blogged about.
Ali is such a fun DJ I enjoy her events.

This came in an e-mail and well I thought about sending it to all you great people who actually put up with my randomness but that would be like all the other random spam notecards running around sl so here it is to everyone .... <3 *bug hugs*

Got Leggy ?

After the hump day party with Ali and all kinds of awesome talent and great costumes.
This is what happens. Poor Leggy wandered outside the party area (which was really cool I must add) until the party was over, then he played taxi for all of us.

Starts with 3 people....

Then everyone decided to see just how many of us could fit....Bone pops in as we're all riding Leggy and without a surprised look joins in the fun.


I think Leggy was trying to escape from us but we're stuck to him like glue.



Ended up with 8 or 9 people on Leggy and it was really fun. Lots of giggles from everyone.



But the dismount was something LOL. *thinks Leggy had enough of us by then*

Gotta love the hump day parties. =) Ali plays great tunes and much goofy merriment is had by all.
